Our Vision for Penygawsi Primary School
When your child starts at Penygawsi Primary School, they will enter a school community that places equal value on all its members. We place a great emphasis on caring and sharing and all pupils are encouraged to show respect for themselves and for one another. Pupils are also encouraged to speak the truth at all times and to be polite and courteous to other pupils, adults or visitors to the school.
• To enable pupils to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to adult life and employment in a fast-changing world.
• To empower pupils to use language and number effectively in their everyday lives.
• To inspire pupils to develop lively enquiring minds, the ability to question and debate rationally and to apply themselves to tasks and physical skills.
